Training of Group Leaders, Continued

After the launch in Adamawa, the training of group leaders continued in the North, Far North and Adamawa even more during the last 2 weeks of October 2012.

The trainers were M Alim of EFA International, M AMADA and M. Hassan Hamadou in Maroua. M. Elie, a teacher in Ngong and Etiennette OWONO of Association FEPES in Garoua (team member Daniel NONZE of Association SADC was unable to train) trained the group leaders in one part of the North region and Mr. BAKARI of Credit du Sahel trained near Guider, another part of the North region.  Finally, M. ADAMA of Fadera Ngaoundere completed the final training in the Adamawa region.

The participants expressed their satisfaction and appreciated the fact that the training they received was relevant and could be immediately implemented in the management of their income-generating activities in rural areas.

At the end of this phase, 28 groups were trained with 86 group leaders participating.

The project will continue with ceremonies to distribute textbooks, exercise books, and supplies to schools in the coming days.

La suite des formations de responsables de groupe

Après le lancement dans l’Adamaoua, les formations des leaders de groupe se sont poursuivies dans le Nord, l’Extrême-Nord et même dans l’Adamaoua encore pendant les 2 dernières semaines du mois d’Octobre 2012.

Les principaux formateurs  étaient M.Alim de EFA International , M.AMADA et M.Hassan Hamadou à Maroua, M. Elie enseignant à Ngong et Mme Etiennette OWONO de l’association FEPES à Garoua  (représentant M.Daniel NONZEde l’Association SADEC, empêché) et M. BAKARI de Crédit du Sahel de Guider et Mme ADAMA de FADERA de Ngaoundéré.

Les participants à ces formations ont exprimé leur satisfaction et apprécié le fait que ces connaissances leur parviennent à un moment comme celui-ci où un besoin  d’informations en gestion des activités génératrices de revenus se fait ressentir  dans les zones rurales.

Au terme de cette phase de formation des leaders de groupe, 28 groupes ont été formés dont 86 responsables.

Le projet se poursuivra avec les restitutions et les cérémonies de remise de fournitures scolaires dans les écoles dans les prochains jours.
